Weekend Highlights
I’ve been MIA here since last Thursday, so here’s a little insight on what I’ve been up to…
I had a rough Friday at work, but ended the night playing poker with friends. I skipped dinner and drank probably 5 bottles of Miller High Life over the course of the next 4 hours instead. Obviously, not a good decision. I ended up eating dinner at 1am in the local diner. FAIL.
Saturday and Sunday were both spectacular days. I went for a 5.5 mile walk with the lady to Brooklyn Bridge Park. While soaking up some sun on the lawn, we took in amazing views of downtown Manhattan. On the way back home, we had some Italian ice…yum!
Sunday’s highlight was coming in 3rd place at a charity Bowl-A-Thon for the Michael J. Fox Foundation at Gutter in Williamsburg.
Monday’s highlight was that it was the day before Tuesday.
Yeah…it was that bad of a day.
